Heat: Got out of school early because my economics teacher hadn't come, found some good metal, and somehow managed to play a space mission in Battlefront II without crashing into my own ship.
Heat: lol
Takal: ...You suck at Battlefront...
Heat: no I don't
Heat: I suck at the space missions
Heat: and that's only because the Y-axis and I are not on friendly terms
Takal: I've trenched-run-d through CIS cruisers and frigates to lose enemies following me many times.
Heat: maybe that's my problem
Heat: I'm playing on Space Hoth
Takal: ...Hoth?
Takal: How do you even hit Rebel ships/star destroyers?
Takal: Nothing sticks out!
Heat: you mean apart from the engines, the turrets, and the command bridge?
Takal: (Bow chicka bow wow)
Takal: 'Tis only a little stalk.
Heat: you have to fly in circles a lot to do any real damage but it's fun
Takal: (Bow chicka bow wow)
Heat: I've spent the last 15 minutes or so taking on a Rebel cruiser solo
Heat: (with occasional breaks to blow up transports)
Heat: oh and I hijacked an A-wing too.
Takal: I fly in directly, firing constantly, then do the backflip thing, retreat to I think 300m from the target, then do the backflip thing again and repeat.
Takal: CIS strike bomber is the best bomber.
Heat: heh, I should try
Takal: Ah... no, the A-wing's a fighter, right? The V-wing's the Republican bomber.
Heat: but for now I'm gonna hit the Rebel hangar again and hijack another A-wing
Heat: yep
Heat: also the pilots' time bombs suck
Takal: Y-wing's the Rebel bomber...
Heat: oh right
Heat: I hijacked a Y-wing not an A-wing
Takal: Highjack the dropship and land it in your base.
Takal: Make life more interesting.
Heat: lol, I'll try and do that now
Heat: the mission just ended
Heat: down with CTF, on to assault
Heat: I like CTF because I'm not actually obliged to care about what's going on around me
Takal: ...I care too much.
Takal: Particularly for allied engineers and sharpshooters...
Heat: lol
Heat: smart things to do: ram your X-wing at full speed into an imperial frigate
Heat:
Takal: On Hoth, they Empire took us down to one guy with about 70 of their own left after rushing all the command posts while I blindly shot at the AT-ATs, so I hunted down the last guy on our team, killed the Snowtrooper fireteam doing the same thing, healed her up then added her to my squad and won the game. That was when I learned the value of sharpshooter allies.
Heat: nice one dude
Heat: weeeeelll I just flew into a turret with an A-wing and almost died
Heat: I'm really hoping it at least damaged the turret.
Takal: Ended up in a shootout between one of those Hoth dish turrets and an AT-AT. Considering that if the sharpshooter hanging around beside the gun got blasted we would lose, it was pretty tense.
Heat: heehee
Heat: well, I finally made it onto an Imperial ship and tried to blow up an Interceptor for the hell of it
Heat: ended up killing myself and my gunner
Heat: don't think it even scratched the bomber.
Takal: Nicely done...
Heat: Indeed.
Heat: and now I just crashed my dropship into the hangar door.
Takal: ...bomber?
Heat: Interceptor = Imperial bomber?
Takal: ...You are really bad at this.
Heat: lol
Takal: Interceptor's the fighter.
Takal: TIE bomber is the bomber.
Takal: It's in the name.
Takal: TIE fighter is the balanced one.
Heat: lol
Takal: Huh?
Heat: I am laughing at my own ineptitude.
Heat: Wasn't it obvious?
Takal: You are certainly inept.
Heat: Indeed.
Takal: Would be hilarious to see you play something like Halo or Mass Effect. I dread to think what you would accomplish in the Mako.
Heat: I'm okay in things that don't fly.
Heat: .....except for the time I tried to drive an AT-TE up a hill.
Takal: The Mako, while a clearly land-based vehicle, flies rather spectacularly.
Heat: .....oh boy.
Takal: Not seen any Mako antics before?
Takal: Gravity does not seem to apply to it.
Heat: no, I haven't.
Heat: .....so I just landed on a Rebel cruiser in my bomber
Takal: And it smashed?
Heat: I got out, and my co-pilot immediately ditched me and flew away
Takal: He knows when to get out.
Heat: probably.
Heat: no wait he didn't actually ditch me
Heat: he's shooting rebel pilots and I thought he left me to die because a Y-wing flew away at the exact moment I lost sight of him
Takal: Right.
Heat: he may not be as intelligent as you thought.
Takal: Damnation... There is no hope for anyone.
Heat: we're all doomed
Heat: in fact my co-pilot has disappeared again and I think the Rebels killed him
Heat: I've already doomed one man because of my ineptitude
Heat: what hope is there for me
Takal: That perhaps you will die a hero's death by tripping into the shield generator's core and lowering it for your team to come in and finish the job.
Heat: We shall see.
Heat: It may be my only hope of redemption.
Heat: well, I've been killed.
Heat: the turret I hijacked was destroyed.
Takal: Finally.
Heat: I died non-heroically trying hopelessly to destroy an A-wing.
Heat: hi Nif
Takal: Or were you just shot out of your chair?
Heat: .....I might have been, now that you mention it.
