Well, here's...This.
This will be my attempt to place into epic form the BZPower Battles spirit.
There will be multiple "Books," each showing sides of our Created Reality which otherwise wouldn't make it to the game.
It will have heavy comedy, but also dark elements.
Let's see how this goes.

In our existence as mortals, we know far less than we assume.
Time and space stretch for such great distances that no one man can possibly know all there is to know. Even should this knowledge reach them, it would drive mortal minds to insanity.
On the planet known as Jurai, a child has just been born. He will go on to wage war on evil, form a group of stalwart allies, and bring peace to the Universe time and time again. Of Royal Blood, he will grow up to have a keen mind and a brave, noble heart. He will be forced to fight evil with cruel measures, but will never once lose the light of good.
This...Is not his story.
[ Location: Karnsa ]
The planet of Karnsa was once a beautiful gem. Its cerulean oceans and verdant isles were home to a wide variety of empaths and ascetic monks. It was long a refuge of peace-seekers, before the Icthys Prima arrived.
Fishlike, savage, and possessed of keen psychic abilities, the Icthys Prima used Karnsa as a new home after they inevitably destroyed two previous planets. Due to seeing the vague future, they knew that this planet would come to a prosperous rule after great destruction. As such, they wiped out every sentient race not their own on the planet and enstated their oligarchal, theocratic government.
What they did not consider was that Karnsa might not come to a prosperous rule beneath them. When Juraian Emperor Azusa Glory heard of this massacre, he assembled his Royal Guards and went to the planet to personally avenge all the pacifists who had been killed. The Icthys Prima knew of Emperor Azusa's fierce sense of justice, but never once did their High Oracles think to look at the chance he would fell them.
The cruel irony was that, in a way, they completely saw the end result coming.
To this day, the Icthys Prima struggle to recover from this defeat.
Emperor Azusa can barely remember the event.
Beneath the sky, tinted green and gold by the sunset, Emperor Azusa and his Royal Guard relaxed after the short war. All around them, buildings had fallen and bodies lay strewn about. The Emperor himself - Possessing lightly-tanned skin and long, pink-red hair in a ponytail - Seemed to be taking a nap.
Nearby were his four chief Guards. Currently speaking and laughing uproariously was a rotund, jolly man with short-cut pale cyan hair, obscuring sunglasses, and thin stubble on his chin. He would only stop every once in a while from his gobbling down soup to tell a joke, laugh with the two other men, and then go back to eating. Yet for a moment, he stopped and looked to the female in their group. "Hey. What's got'cha in such a bad mood, Fasha? Izzit - "
"Say it, Dorom. I dare you." Fasha turned to glare at him, eyes narrowed. She had short black hair in a tomboyish cut, fair skin, and violet eyes. Currently, she was scowling darkly. As Dorom flinched and hurriedly went back to eating, Fasha turned to look at Azusa - Reclined against a piece of fallen masonry. "The Emperor seems...Different. Normally, he'll never choose a nap over food. Especially his favorite soup." Clear worry crossed her eyes.
Meanwhile, a tall man with messy, spiky hair and a long ponytail chuckled. "I'd say something to the effect of your crush on him, if you weren't such a huge di - " Chuckling, he ducked under a huge chunk of stone lobbed towards his head. "Just relaxe, Fasha. If he were unwell, Skiltzi would know. Right, Skiltzi?" He turned to look at the last member of their group - Sitting apart from even them.
Quite different from the rest, 'Skiltzi' was covered head to toe in either his dull, dark red cloak or bandages. He wore some kind of gasmask over his lower face, and had round, unblinking eyes with small pupils. Wordlessly, Skiltzi gave a slow nod in response to the man's question. All the same, Fasha was clearly worried still. "Thank you, Kharnash, Skiltzi. I just...Can't help but worry about him."
Finally, Dorom had ceased eating to speak up again. "We're all focused on the Emperor's best interests. But he wouldn't want any of his to be overly-concerned about him. Skiltzi would know if anything was wrong - He's known the Emperor since they were tykes!" As if on cue, Skiltzi flinched.
Everyone stared as the covered being rose up to his unimpressive height and gracefully walked over to Azusa. With his gliding movements, he came to a kneel by the Emperor and bowed over. In the next instant, Azusa erupted into coughs.
Without pause, each of the other three rushed to their Emperor. His eyes were wide and staring - A total opposite of their normal half-closed, relaxed state.
Kharnash barked out, "Fasha, Dorom, keep watch for any enemies!" Both of them nodded once, leaping with great agility to scout the area.
"Skiltzi," Kharnash murmured, "Do what you can to help him."
With a nod, Skiltzi placed his hands over Azusa's chest.
The Emperor still stared blindly.
